2028 QB Trey Tagliaferri Commits to OU Football + Folarin Balogun WILL PLAY vs. Belgium in World Cup

Gabe Ikard and Teddy Lehman discuss 2028 QB Trey Tagliaferri committing to Oklahoma. Brent Venables, Ben Arbuckle and Jim Nagy were able to get Tagliaferri to decommit from Notre Dame and choose the Sooners. He is OU football's first commit in the 2028 recruiting class. In a rare "Football Guys Talkin' Soccer," they recap the United States' 2-0 win over Bosnia and Herzegovina in the round of 32 at the World Cup. They also discuss the fantastic news that Folarin Balogun's red card has been suspended and he will be available to play in the round of 16 matchup against Belgium. Ikard and Lehman give their "Winners & Losers of the Weekend": OU baseball was able to retain the freshmen pitching core of Cord Rager, Xander Mercurius and Nick Wesloski that led them to the national championship, Joey Chestnut won his 18th Nathan's Hot Dog Eating contest and competitive eating needs to find a challenger for him, the Philadelphia 76ers sent Boston Celtics fans into a frenzy when they were able to trade for Jaylen Brown for Paul George and draft picks and Cape Verde took Argentina to the brink only to lose on an own goal.
